If you go on to buy or sell a home, the agent is paid the normal way real estate professionals are paid — through the transaction. You never pay us directly, and nothing about the introduction itself costs you anything.

This network is just getting started, so here is exactly what “vetted” means today: a real person on our team confirms the agent holds an active real estate license in good standing, has a conversation with them about their faith and how they work with clients, and confirms they’re backed by Grand Rapids Real Estate Co. in partnership with AARE — a brokerage that has operated nationwide for over two decades. That’s a personal review, not an anonymous directory listing. As the network grows we expect this process to grow with it, but we’d rather tell you plainly what it is today than overstate it.

It means three specific things, and nothing beyond them: (1) the agent’s license is active and verified, (2) someone on our team has personally spoken with them, and (3) they operate under an established brokerage’s standards rather than working on their own. It is not a doctrinal test, a certification from a governing body, or a guarantee of how any one transaction will go — it’s a real person doing real due diligence before an introduction is made.

“Real estate agent” is the general term for anyone licensed to help buy or sell property. “Realtor” is a trademarked title for agents who are also members of the National Association of Realtors and agree to its code of ethics. Most agents in this network are realtors; we use both words across this site because most people search both ways, and the distinction rarely changes who you should work with.

No. Filling out the form doesn’t commit you to anything, and neither does the first conversation with the agent we introduce you to. If it isn’t the right fit, tell us and we’ll try again — there’s no contract to sign just to talk, and you can say “no thanks” at any point in the process.

No — this network is national. It’s built on The Church Map, which has churches mapped in all 50 states, and it matches people to a vetted Christian agent by county, anywhere in the country. Grand Rapids Real Estate Co. is the Michigan-licensed brokerage that places every referral in partnership with AARE, but the people we introduce agents to live all over the United States.
